Changes to my study programme
As an art student of this university, I think there are good and bad things about this career and its department. First of all, four years are too little for studying this kind of career in my opinion. The university give us just three years to learn a discipline (that if you stay at the same class the whole time in here) and I think that's not enough; whether it's some kind of cliché or not, artists need their own time to create art because each of us has a different way to observe and analyze the enviroment; some may be faster than others but we tend to be slow. And what's more important to me, we need to experiment and make mistakes a lot to be able to understand our own"style" and to know exactly what we want to do with it, but when time is running out so fast it becomes a pressure that is not very helpful. So I would add more semesters of central class to the curriculum and make the schedule more flexible to take the other classes when we want to.
About the building, I like it the way it is today: a little bit old, sober and with the student's drawings in every wall, but it's known that the infrastucture is very weak. I think the authorities should be investing more money in it because it's inacceptable that, for example, some classrooms get wet in rainy days because of the leaks. It's a thing of common sense when it comes to a public university.
I have similar thoughts about the technologies in this place, it's not a bad thing that the machines are old but sometimes they're not enough for all of us.
And last but not least, I honestly don't have any special problems about the teaching methods because every teacher is different and most of them do a good job (at least the ones I know). Being an art teacher is a weird job and I haven't thought of an only way this job should be done, so by now it's okay to me.

Shows what things are good and what things are bad as for art must be a very strange task for a teacher, so everything depends on the teacher and its own tastes I think...
