Postgraduate studies
I actually never think about postgraduate studies. Maybe it's because I don't care about it that much by the moment, but if I had to choose now, I think I would like to do a doctorate degree in Philosophy on Aesthetics because I find it really interesting and it complements a lot the Plastic Arts career by giving you new ideas. I like it because I like questioning stuff and doing it through images, movies, TV series and visual arts, giving you a whole new way of seeing things and human behaviors. Besides, Aesthetic classes are the ones I've enjoyed the most when it comes to theoretical classes and they made me want to know more about it.
I'd probably do it here in Chile, in the same University I am studying now, because it's more comfortable for me but if I could do it in another country (like one in Europe) it would be so much better. In Universidad de Chile they include History of Arts too (it's called Doctorate degree in Philosophy on Aesthetic and History of Arts) which makes it even better.
To be honest, I'm pretty bad at theoretical classes -I don't know why, but I'm pretty sure that in a few years later from now I'll be mature enough to be a good student and be more able to understand this kind of stuff.

It is really difficult to think so early in the future, for me is the same thing, everything sound really distant!
ResponderEliminarGreetings!
The studies of philosophy on aesthetics are very important on this area (sadly it is a little difficult to me). If you decide that, I hope you will succesful!
ResponderEliminarI appreciate that you are confident in your future self, a good way to start dealing with theoretical stuff is by watching good documentaries, here's a useful link:
